Founder/President Heidi Glatfelter Schlag is a marketing and communications professional with over twenty years of experience. I founded Market Early America in 2008 as a way to combine my marketing know-how with my love of American history and preservation. I have worked with a variety of organizations to implement strategic marketing policies without breaking their budgets. You can learn more about my background here or on my LinkedIn page.

I love working with history museums, small local businesses, tourism organizations, and associations, helping them to refine their marketing and communications strategies in order to achieve their long-term goals in growth and sustainability. I can work with you, too, to develop and implement an integrated plan that will sustain your organization into the future.

What Makes Market Early America Different

Unlike many agencies operating today, my main goal is not profit-based; instead, it is to do my part to help sustain our history, small towns, agricultural assets, and park spaces for future generations to explore. In addition, I have years of experience completing projects on small budgets and am familiar with a variety of low-cost or no-cost solutions I can implement for your organization. As such, I am able to charge reasonable prices for my services that museums and small businesses can afford. I also strive to implement systems (such as content management systems and templates) that allow staff members to continue using my solutions long after my involvement with the project has ended.
